Recently, the bridge demolition and relocation project of the Sanjiao Interchange ramp bridge crossing Guangzhou Avenue South in Guangzhou was successfully completed.The project was undertaken by Jiangsu Yongjie Special Equipment Co., Ltd., with Guangzhou Highway Engineering Group responsible for on-site implementation. Jinli Heavy Technology provided the JLDS300t Modular Hydraulic Jack-Up System as a key supporting solution.
The project introduced an integrated bridge removal and relocation system. To ensure normal daytime traffic operation on the main road, all demolition and relocation procedures were carried out within a very limited nighttime construction window. Through equipment innovation and optimized construction processes, the project team overcame time constraints and completed the precise relocation of a 400-ton box girder across the main road within only 6 hours.This solution effectively minimized traffic disruption and provided an innovative reference for large-scale bridge reconstruction projects in busy urban transportation networks.

The Sanjiao Interchange is located in the southern part of Haizhu District, Guangzhou, connecting major urban routes including the South Ring Expressway, Guangzhou Avenue South, and Nanzhou Road. With 24 directional ramps, the interchange features a highly complex traffic organization system.
The existing ramp bridge crossing Guangzhou Avenue South could no longer meet the region’s development needs, making demolition and upgrading necessary. The project involved the removal of four box girder sections, with each single-span box girder weighing approximately 400 tons and reaching a height of 5.9 meters. With more than 50,000 vehicles passing daily on the main road beneath the bridge, maintaining traffic flow during construction presented significant challenges.

With complex site conditions and significant construction challenges, Jinli Heavy Technology overcame the difficulties through advanced lifting technology. Based on extensive field experience in real-world engineering projects, Jinli Heavy Technology adheres to strict safety and precision standards, earning strong recognition from Jiangsu Yongjie Special Equipment and the project owner.
This project adopted an integrated relocation solution combining SPMT modular transporters and a hydraulic jack-up system. For the highly challenging heavy-load operation involving synchronized bridge cutting and relocation, the JLDS300t Modular Hydraulic Jack-Up System demonstrated stable performance, excellent safety margins, and the ability to efficiently adapt to extreme construction scenarios.

1. Outstanding lifting and load-bearing performance
Four units provide a rated lifting capacity of 1,200 tons, with a lifting height range of 6–20 m, extendable up to 40 m.
2. Intelligent multi-unit coordination
A single master control system can flexibly configure multiple modules for synchronized operation. The system can theoretically coordinate hundreds of units, enabling the lifting and relocation of structures weighing up to tens of thousands of tons.
3. Flexible adaptive lifting head design
The combination of a spherical hinge base and bidirectional leveling hydraulic cylinders effectively compensates for uneven loads and achieves millimeter-level smooth leveling.
4. High-precision synchronous control
Single-unit positioning accuracy reaches ≤ ±0.5 mm, while multi-unit synchronized accuracy reaches ≤ ±1.5 mm, ensuring uniform load distribution on the girder and preventing structural damage.
